Ticketed by LATAM?

No TPs with BAEC on this I guess?

shows as Y on matrix.itasoftware.com for the cai-doh leg which only gets coach or first not business. Regardless, LATAM say the premium business fare is fully refundable and changeable.

You shouldn't have any problems booking directly with LATAM and choosing "Premium Business" (which is the correct option here). The segment from CAI to DOH is in economy because Qatar Airways sells economy and first on that route. The last leg from GRU to ASU is in premium economy because LATAM only sells business on their widebody aircraft (expect the seat to be similar to eurobiz, not the recliner you'd find in business in North America).

I can see. United codeshares were working, but United just re-priced everything and increased the price so that their pricing would match the old pricing.

EDIT
Royal Jordanian hasn't re-priced yet.

They fly to New York, Montreal, Detroit, and Chicago. Not Qatar Airways business class, but I'd take their seat any day over economy or premium economy!

EDIT 2
I take that back, United isn't done repricing. Try to find a one-way or roundtrip with a United segment and hope it's a United fare so you can book through United.

To make this easier - for those of you booking to other destinations, in addition to RJ and UA, so far LATAM, Gulf Air, Oman Air, China Eastern, Qantas, Philippines Airlines, Turkish, Ethiopian, and Kuwait Airways have routes that haven't been re-priced.

There might be others I'm missing, but this is what I can quickly see in my data.

EDIT
Forgot South African Airways, Kenya Airways, Rwandair Express, Tunisair, Air Algerie.

Seeing 975$ one way CAI-AMM-JFK on select dates but cancel/change fee is 115$. Regularly one can find 1350$ on this route with different airlines.

I quickly hit the button on an ex-CAI RTW that I happened to have been working on anyway. $6,259.68 for two people, in business, ticketed.

After pulling it off last night I couldn't sleep I was so excited.

That's an amazing price! Just over $3k per person for a round the world ticket in business! Likely less than 12 cents per mile flown (300000/24901=12.05).

Just booked CAI-MDV and found no one to go with so solo 5 day trip for my birthday. Thanks a lot for posting this, I am super excited to fly q suite again, provided I don’t fall victim to equipment swap, or to a cancelation.

On some days the LA/QR deal to ASU seems to be available in business also on the CAI-DOH-CAI legs, at least according to the OTAs. Would this ticket grant access to the F lounge in DOH?

more than likely you’re viewing it on a non bookable screen/ on a fare finder not somewhere you can put payment info into.

I spent all night trying to make it work and I couldn’t. Sucks but oh well. The premium economy on latam is euro biz and gives the lounge in GRU, the business on QR should give lounge in CAI and ofc you have the Al mourjan in DOH. If you’re able to confirm ticket in J on that flight do let me know as I’ll probably book another flight !

I’m not planning to go, was just looking for fun. It seems that you are right and that the legs in business are only visible before trying to actually book.
