Anyone managed to make the outbound leg work on the A380? Every option I pull up gives the 777

Here’s an example with A380 both ways:

No FCT in FRA, but I assume one gets the First Class Check-in service in SIN on the return...

Never flown SQ before - what is the difference between first class A380 vs. 777? Do I assume correctly that A380 = suites (automatically) whereas 777 is "just" a first class seat?

Thanks!

Thanks OP! Successfully booked a rtn for 2pax in September. For those following the thread, I found it much easier to use the LH site than google/matrix. The 'lowest" fare indicator was not reliable but if you are prepared to scroll back and forth, you can narrow it down quite quickly.

Taking the A380 both ways is always more expensive. I tried a lot of combo dates for the A380 both ways at the lower price but no luck.

I suspect this is more about fare availability in this case than the metal. I got the 380 both ways for €3135pp ex HEL. But even during the time when I was looking, the days that price was there seemed to reduce.

Re the Lufthansa First Class Terminal: Not sure on this one.... my ticket has a 2.5 hour layover between LH from HEL and the SQ flight to SIN so more than likely I would not even leave the main terminal to go to LH's First Terminal.... on the way back, because I am connecting from SQ First to LH Business, probably not allowed, even though on an LH ticket.... not sure overall

It appears access is restricted as follows: - no SQ mentioned ONLY LH, LX, OS
You are welcome to bring a traveling companion with you into the First Class Terminal, as long as they are booked on the same departure flight as yourself with Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines or SWISS. Life partners, spouses and children under 18 must have a valid boarding pass for the same departure flight on which the inviting person is booked.

FCT / FCL access requires F departure or arrival on LH group metal.

Departing SQ F only gets SEN lounge. Departing LH J would only be Business lounge.

I don't comment often but thanks to OP who circulated this on the forum!

Got CPH-SIN return via FRA.

LH 747 first outbound and SQ suites inbound. Not SQ both ways but never try both products so hats off to the commuity !
