AA: MIA-COR in J $1,437 back on

This fare is back on through EOY in J.

Is this fare as crazy low for a Big 3 carrier as I think it is? I can't think of a time one of the big 3 was offering a similarly priced "non-mistake" fare for a lie-flat J flight over 4,000 miles in the last 3-4 years.

17.6 cents/mile?
Probably not "crazy low", but still a decent value.

8.8 cents per EQM though. That's pretty darn good for AA/lie-flat/nonstop/long-haul.

Not necessarily arguing for it being crazy low from a cents/mile standpoint, but a sub-$1500 non-mistake fare for an international long-haul flight on a Big 3 carrier feels extremely rare.

COR = Córdoba, Argentina. Presumably there's a connection somewhere in South America.

This flight is non-stop. Check the earlier thread for further travel ideas in Argentina.

From COR, the connections will be either by bus, or flights mostly stopping at AEP.

There are plenty of direct flights from Cordoba to points west and south. It's the center of the country so that you don't have to go through AEP to get to Mendoza, Bariloche. Besides LATAM and Aerolineas/Austral, you have Norwegian Air. It'll be winter now and you can hit the ski slopes of the Andes.

I am having trouble choosing my return flight. If I take this 767 J redeye down from MIA-COR, I have the option of returning on:

COR-MIA 767 J daytime flight ($1,450)

OR

EZE-MIA 777 premium economy redeye ($1,450), regular economy redeye ($1,250), or business redeye ($1,950)

My trip ends in EZE so that one is more convenient. Would I be crazy to take the 777 PE overnight for the same price, instead of flying back to COR (~$100) and then taking an 11am daytime flight in 767 J?

Thanks for any insight. I'll be traveling with my gf if that makes a difference.

I suppose to say it more succinctly, how much should I value the 767 J seat over a 777 PE seat, specifically with the PE flight as a redeye and the J flight as a daytime. thx.
