Many dates available from August until at least November. Lots of carriers also, not just LX, but also LH and UA:

Works from SEA as well and on One World. Should be able to apply AARP + Chase to bring it down by $500.

Yup. Purchased one of these on Thursday.

You can OJ back out of TXL for $2701. The LX nonstop space is pretty limited.

SFO-ZRH is slightly cheaper on ST, but IMO an inferior product/experience.

How does one get this AARP discount? Is it online when you buy the ticket? And what does "+ Chase" mean? That you need a chase card?

Works on BA bookings. AARP has a discount for being a member and chase has a 10% off code. A quick google search for BA AARP discount and BA chase 10% will tell you how to use both.

Okay, thanks, but does this only work on BA or is this something I can use on United/star alliance?

Yes purchased 2 tix on Swiss MIA-ZRH-ARN return for $2,480 a piece. Pretty solid deal to fly the Swiss 777 for 9 hours transatlantic.
BumpMe! and Boraxo like this.

Yes - still showing at $2,650 R/T around the Xmas and NY's holidays. Combination of LX, UA, LH or AC metal, non-stops or connections depending on whether you want efficiency or you want to maximize PQM.

[ON EDIT] - looks like many cities in Western Europe are in the $2600 - $2700 range on *A from SFO mid-December to first few days of January: CDG, FRA, LHR, BNC, MAD, FCO, VIE, AMS, to name those I checked. Good opportunity for winter holidays!

Ah, that's good to know but before I was seeing wide availability at $2650 in August, October and November... not so anymore.
