CA LAX-SZX $1500 (nonstop only) and LAX-SZX-HGH $1313

Another cheap one involving China, just filed on Nov 1. You must be on 787 nonstop.. so need a visa due to restricted routings (can’t TWOV). Scattered dates. Damn. Cheap.

Thank you for posting this great deal, but I just checked on Google Flight - it seems to be no longer available.

GF is a crappy tool to rely on. It’s available. Try another tool. Use ita to find abailable dates first.

Thanks for your prompt reply. So may I ask, which tool do you recommend? I have tried ITA Matrix, but am having no luck whatsoever...

P.S. Sorry, but I am still quite new to this.

Just open google flights, from the drop down list of Airlines move the slider so none are selected then select AirChina from the list, this will filter out any other airline to narrow your search to CA only as outline in this deal, then click on the calendar and wait for it to populate with the prices, select the dates that are displaying the lowest prices. After selecting the dates you may have several flight options with varying times/durations/routings. Select the Outbound and Inbound flights you want then you will be offered either to book directly with the airline via a link or with a ticket reseller (OTA) in some cases the links won’t work on the carriers website so you will need to manually enter your dates etc on their websites. As a rule of thumb after finding a cheap deal I will usually search a few OTA’s or search engines like Skyscanner etc to see if I can further reduce the price.
Good Luck.

FYI this is a 2-2-2 config not 1-2-1.

Use kayak.com too, like this

https://www.kayak.com/flights/LAX-SZ...t=bestflight_a

... and found something even lower like $1160 from an unknown OTA, as usual, proceed with caution.

Better deal, add SZX-HGH on and the fare drops to $1313 all in! The LAX-HGH base fare is $780 on CA... wow.

2 of these would bring you tantalizingly close to SkyTeam Elite, about 1500 Tier Miles short of 100k in Egret FF program.
