UL/QF - CMB-AKL in J for 1.540 USD
Hi everybody,
I was just looking for my flights to New Zealand in June / July and I found very affordable business class rates on my usual (German) flight search engine Momondo.de
Total flight times are only 23 / 21 hours with stops in Singapure and Melbourne (CMB-SIN-CMB operated by Sri Lankan Airlines and the rest by Qantas.

can you share the full routing that you found to AKL?
Is this a QF fare or UL?

Sure, here's what I intend to book:
15 JUN 7.30am CMB - SIN UL302 (layover 6h10m)
15 JUN 8.15pm SIN- MEL QF36 (layover 2h10m)
16 JUN 7.45am MEL- AKL QF153

14 JUL 7.10am AKL-MEL QF 152 (layover 2h30m)
14 JUL 11.55am MEL-SIN QF 35 (layover 2h10m)
14 JUL 8.05pm SIN- CMB UL 309
As it's directing you to a third party website I can't tell which fare it is, can I?
Edit: Just saw: for only 200€ more you can shorten the return by one stop and almost 5 hours. Transit will be in MEL, from there direct flight to CMB.

This deal is kind of ongoing on a permanent basis for some years now, it goes away for sometimes but this UL fare always comes back on this route.

Also seeing for $1700 just one stop with MH to AKL, but this flight with QF Flight numbers and metal can be attractive for QF SC hunters

i didnt re-read the fare rules but if it’s the same as usual yes, I use this fare a few times, often stopping in Singapore, I have been able to purchase the QF version only by using the call center it just never seems to price out on their web site.

I think i have done this route in the past (three years ago?). I think it was slightly more expensive, although was bought from an OTA that had a booking fee and likely additional carrier charges?
one way CMB-SIN-SYD-WLG was once around $1000NZD and RT around $1600NZD from memory...
