Finn Air - LHR -> BKK £1594 RT

Fly Finn Air from LHR To BKK via HEL. The seat from LHR to HEL is also "lie flat" so you get 4 lie flat experiences in total.

Just a slight correction.

The LHR/HEL example you have provided is indeed lie-flat, but this is only on the once daily A350 service. Other flights are not, including the return HEL/LHR, so only three lie-flat services in this example.

I'd also note that the flights are on AY's latest A350 metal, which has a top-notch J section. Also, it's only three hours between LHR-HEL, so you probably don't need a lie-flat for those particular segments.

Oh, also: there's a fair amount of availability in November and December for €1,770 r/t.

You can often get sub-£1500 deals with them to BKK from MAN too, with great journey times of 15 hours and less each way.

Why on earth would you care about lie flat seats on a short, daytime flight, London to Helsinki?

Well it beats the alternative of a standard economy row with blocked middle seat, no?

The seat was good, although I wouldn't have said it was great. What really let the LHR/HEL service down was the awful food, especially the breakfast on the HEL/LHR. That would be almost enough for me to consider not flying AY long haul.
