Happy 2014! This 2014 'Good Deals Premium Economy Fares' thread is for deals from 1 January 2013.
(A new thread is created annually to make reference to the current year's deals easily readable, without clutter from last year's expired sales etc).

Good deal for Premium Econ E class. Found on Kayak.co.in; works on cathaypacific.com. Priced in Rupees: 84,450 rupees.

Sample dates: 14 Feb-2 March. Lots of availability.

Edit to note this is roundtrip.

Wow, that's about 4.3 cents per EQP.

$937 CAD roundtrip for premium economy YVR - CAN on China southern.

Saw dates in April and May available, didn't look much more into it.

Not in reverse though... its double in $USD JFK-DEL... sadly.

They never are.

Booked an open jaw on CX (E), JFK-HKG-PEK/PVG-HKG-JFK FOR $1985 a/i, for a reference point. Dates in May.

DL LAS-LAX-FCO $1827 RT 20,562 MQM Books Y domestic and W intl (premium economy). Example dates Oct 16/Oct 21. Can also do via JFK.

My first post here, sorry if I left something out or if it has been posted before. Other cities work as well.

VS or BA: BOS-JNB via LHR ~$1900 AI RT, SFO/LAX/NYC-JNB ~$2050 AI RT, CPT available for about $100-150 more RT

Might be other cities available. Can fly A380 on BA to/from JNB, though may require long layovers in LHR to do so on the outbound. Timing for A380 works much better on return. Books into T for BA, K for VS. Dates in March for both, perhaps more through April. Might be more beyond but I will leave it up to you to find ;). I think you can upgrade for a decent price with Avios on BA? I could be wrong.

I bought 2 tickets PHX-LAX-CDG-PRG-CDG-LAX-PHX with the LAX-CDG-LAX booked in W on AF through Delta.com for $1631 for April travel.

I just checked it and they still have it available for $1,880. Not a bad way to get 50% bonus MQMs.

starting from $1661 USD. If doing true MR w/ no nights in HKG, price goes up slightly to $1685 due to weekend rates.

19442 base miles, so with pre-SkyMiles2015 earnings (+25% RDM/+50% MQM), this will earn 24304 RDM / 29164 MQM for as low as 5.7 cents per MQM (6.8 cents per RDM).
Note that DL has not published new AF earnings rates yet for post-1JAN2015.

Funnily, with these dates you'd spend more time in Paris each way than in your "destination" Hong Kong.
Not as torturous as some of the economy MRs out there.

Nice fare, too bad cross border flights are so expensive to position :(

But if I'm going to spend that kind of time in an aluminum tube, I'm going to spend some time in one of my favorite places in the word ;)
