EXP = Executive Platinum (very frequent flyer)
CEO = Chief Executive Officer (boss)
Gold = Not yet Platinum

Terminal Dump = evacuating the terminal due to some event

I nominate "smurf" as it appears to have entered the lexicon of this forum

smurf: a term for a tso in reference to their police like blue uniform.

Added.

Thanks.

Well, I'd settle for a glossary of legitimate official terms. The many satirical terms haven't a lot of real-world utility that I can see.

Set it up and we'll publish it.

We can always use add'l help around here.

The current glossary was developed with the help, assistance and direction of many FT'ers.

Don't have to. This already exists for people just interested in travel, not amusing themselves by harassing the TSA:

The original purpose for the glossary was not only to define TSA terms as TSA defines them, but also to provide the lexicon that is used on FT in general. How many times do we talk about things like PV, KHIAI, moat dragon, etc - terms that many of us take for granted and as common knowledge - that would be completely foreign to someone new here.

Of course, there are derisive terms about TSA in there. TSA is viewed pretty negatively around here. It wasn't meant just to be a dry document of terms.

Super

Well, if someone wants to "get" the tirades against the government, well, then lets have a glossary for that. But for people more interested in the minutiae of travel, I don't think anyone has to come up with a new glossary. Call yours The Flamers' Glossary.

BXR - Worse than mmw, and electronic strip search machine that can also cause cancer. The TSA assures us that this is no cause for alarm.

Thanks....

We'll add it to the glossary.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant but forgot to add. That should be added to the definition.

AIT = Advanced Imaging Technology. Used instead of the older term "WBI" because too many people realized that "whole body imaging" meant they could see your whole body.
