DL/NW codeshare and SSSS?
I was just buying a ticket to CMH to HNL, but all of the flights are DL flight numbers flown on Northwest metal. I was wondering if that will earn me an SSSS? Since it is actually roundtrip on Northwest, I figured that this would help. I'm elite on Continental, so that's the account that I'll use for this trip.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
The DL codeshare ticket is thousands of dollars cheaper than purchasing a ticket directly from Delta or Northwest, hence the reason I'm doing it.

Unlikely, I've only experienced SSSS on last minute one-ways (rebookings at the airport due it IROPS) and once on a DL RT when the outbound (MSP-ATL-LAX) had to be changed the evening before to MSP-CVG-LAX due to an ice storm in ATL.

With DL status, I've never had a problem on either CO or NW when taking their metal. Make sure your FF # is in the record.

No, I don't get it often. Last time was CMH-HNL on a Delta flight with a Delta FF number, purchased far in advance with a Delta credit card. I think it was just there to make my blood pressure go up.
