It's a big deal (the dagger) in a lot of countries.
Currently, as I understand it from my Canuk relatives, young Sikh's can carry their daggers to school. Several stabbings a year, mostly unreported by the MSM, of course. |
Typically the dagger is quite small, almost a pin. It's rare that anything particularly dangerous is carried for the religious reasons for day to day life if only because it's a pain to have to carry this stuff around.
