Say nothing. Keep your eyes on your bags. Put your shoes back on as quickly as you can and get the hell out of there.

I know that screeners tearing through my carry on because it held a projector have been trying to provoke a reaction and I won't give them the satisfaction. When they pull out my (retired LEO) badge, look at it and then grind through my things, including reading material in folders, using as many as a dozen cotton swabs, it just isn't worth it.

Oppression in America will not come from a foreign enemy, but from our government's reaction to a foreign threat. Don't let them put you on a no-fly list because you reacted to their un-american conduct .

Looks like they'll call the cops if we tell them we're wearing non-profile shoes.

Let me understand....you permitted TSA screeners to read documents found within your baggage? Why would you permit that? I never allow them to get access to papers, documents, nor would I discuss any papers or documents I am carrying if asked.

But we're allowing it to happen, aren't we?

I think he was referring to the fact that he had an overzealous screener who was looking thru everything, not nessarily reading them. Definitely over the line though.

Not all of us are. :) Of course, the problem is that we aren't listened to in the grand scheme of things.

Our BEHAVIOR? When HAVEN'T they been interested enbough in that to use it as an SSI reason to do anything they feel like?

All part of the "Implied Consent" clauses in our American "Implied" Constitution.
