LOL :D

Btw, I was also looking for somebody to mention those much beloved names of Oliver Closeoff, Harrison Balls, Richard Head, and who could forget Benjamin Dover.

Whens the baby due? boy or girl? our girl is due 12/1, but we have not decided a name for her yet; the above mentioned names are not options!

Is there a way to check with the TSA or DHS to see if any of the names we are considering (along with our last name) will cause problems?

It's a shame that our country has come to this, but even if we really fell in love with a particular baby name, we’d decide on something else if we knew it would cause airport harassment for us and for our child.

I would not worry too much regarding this matter and waste the time to look up the names! Just choose whatever name you and your wive/spouse desires the most and not think too much about these types of thing. People have same names and surnames all the time. If we worry too much about this then we all shouldn't have names. What happens if the name you have chosen is currently not on the no-fly list but a year later after your child was born, a terrorist that bears the same name is added into the list?

Glad you enjoyed. My personal favorite -- and a former Congressman to boot -- is New Hampshire's own Dick Swett. Not Rick or Richard, but Dick.

Two of my colleagues have named their newborns Osama! I asked them about it and they never hesitated or had any doubts and they're both not of Arabian or Afghan descent.

Thats like the old joke, dates back about 80 years, about the Asian gentleman named Moishe Rabinovitz. He was coming through immigration right behind a Russian immigrant by that name, when the agent asked his name he said "Sam Ting".

You forgot Mike Hunt, Hugh Jass, Al Koholic, and many other faves.

You could use the fake names of spammers!

Quiksabibble is one of my favorites!

I think the TSA has the right idea. Aren't we all afraid of flying with Babies? There's nothing that sends a chill down my spine like strollers lining up for First Class boarding.

LOL, btw, my youngest brother once turned in a Biology quiz with his name signed as Hugh Jass. I think he got "sent to timeout" for that one, but he claims it was worth every minute!

This is the most thinly veiled troll I've seen in a long time. Come on people....

I used to go to an all-boys private school, but we often had visiting guests from local girls' schools. During lunch there were announcements, sometimes read by the guests, for certain students. Every couple of months, one of our female guests would read "Would Mike Hunt please report to the infirmary." A roar of laughter would erupt.

In hind sight it was incredibly crass, but what do you expect from a bunch of high-school boys.

A couple we know started naming their children alphabetically beginning with the first born being Albert. The poor wife got exhausted :D by the time Nellie was born.
