New TSA Ban?

There was a fire recently in FLL's Delta Terminal. According to the news report:

Some ball bearings seized on a shaft in the luggage conveyor belt, causing friction on the moving belt to spark the fire in Terminal 2 shortly before noon, Broward Sheriff's Office fire-rescue division Capt. David Erdman said.

I am certain that this will inspire the TSA to require all future passengers to surrender their balls.

Dovester, how the hell can you even wish for this, your bearings must be getting ready to sieze, if they haven't already

I am certain that this will inspire the TSA to require all future passengers to surrender their balls.

On seeing the cause of the blaze, Capt. "Snuffy" Erdman yelled "Great Balls of Fire!"

Does this mean they will quit serving nuts on the planes?

I usually fly Delta in Y, meaning that they haven't given me any in-flight service for years. I don't know how other airlines will treat their nuts.

Some used to glaze them. Some mix them. :D

I can't do it.

I won't do it!

I won't even think of asking Traveller how she likes her Sundays topped off!

I like my sundaes topped off with dry nuts and chocolate sauce.

I like my Sundays topped off with a nap. :)

LOL...Actually, it may not even be the TSA that initiates it...may be our lovely senators :D

Yes, but if they check your nuts, they will certainly use the proper colour of zip locks to reseal your bag. :p

Best wishes,

With Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls?

whirledtraveler Mar 3, 2005 6:58 pm

I think that the innuendo about nuts is in extremely poor taste.
