I didn't even check there, since it wasn't a checkpoint issue.

These two seperate forums are confusing.

it can be confusing.
 
Items that are simple questions - where is the Global Entry Kiosk at LAX? How much liquid am I allowed? etc - anything that only needs a simple , factual answer belongs in Practical Issues.

Items that are likely to generate discussion, like "Attorney General Bans TSA from JFK airport" or or are inflammatory in nature e.g. "TSA stole my laptop" etc GENERALLY belong in Checkpoints Policy and Debate Forum.
