Even TSA dares not have male TSA "pat down" girls

I just cannot imagine we could ever see a 45 year old male TSA laying hands on the body of a 14 y/o female passenger.

Of course, I couldn't imagine that a 45 y/o male government employee would spend all day long doing virtual strip searches of men, women, and children of all ages.

Nor could I imagine a world where TSA are congratulated by their agency chief for putting their hands down the pants of small children.

Oh, and I agree on the men watching the women searched, there is definitely a sexual component to this.

Of course men are interested in looking at women getting frisked in this manner. That is the way men are. They are visual, and when it comes to anything related to women, they are very visual. It is not great, but it just the reality. And for that reason, these goons should be forbidden to hang around watching the gropes while on their shift. To say there is no sexual element in this is false simply on the grounds of predictable human nature.

This discussion of a sexual element brings another thought to mind: the full gropes I saw were all of women I thought were attractive. Although no make TSOs gathered around to watch (kudos to them), some male passengers did stop and stare. One of the women was noticeably embarrassed, another shot the onlookers a defiant look. But all the secondary gropees chose the NoS over the WTMD...maybe next time they won't.
