How Dumb Do They Come?
"Bringin' Stupid Back"
http://blog.american.com/?p=29266 Weird Al should feature this in one of his parodies. Seriously, everyone who graduates college should have to pass Algebra, Logic, and at least some dumbed down Statistics. This is scary. |

Well there's the dilemma isn't it? If he read the article and still thinks the article proves the TSA's Xray backscatter equipment is safe, then he's a bit "intellectually challenged." If he didn't read the article he reported on or deliberately decided to lie about the article's implications, then he's a bit "ethically challenged." Joy:rolleyes:! |
But for those concerned with health, if you don’t want the TSA to “touch your junk,” it’s perfectly safe to go through the scanner instead. |
companies like L3 can buy dozens of shills just like this one anytime they want. When you have purposed, focused greed working on the willfully ignorant, truth goes out on a stretcher.

I dunno. I prefer to believe most journalists are stupid, rather than believe so many are dishonest.
I admit that my preference doesn't effect reality. It's one way or the other, and anybody's guess as to which. |

I actually prefer the British English term 'newsreader' to 'anchor' as I don't believe that many/most 'news anchors' really have much subject matter expertise.
Besides, I know a journalist. She's really bright, and very ethical. I don't think she'd print this shlop about TSA Scanner "Safety" uncritically. |
Here's some more from Mr. Theissen from last November:
Let’s Give Thanks for the TSA In the coming days, millions of Americans will travel to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. May I pose a novel idea? As we go through the airport screening line, let’s stop and say “thanks” to the men and women of the TSA who give up time with their families during the holidays to keep us safe from terror. A lot of you know I'm a lifelong conservative/libertarian Republican, but people like this should be be run out of the party out on a rail. Does he lack of critical thinking skills, receive political grift, or a combination of both? |

Let's stop and tell the TSA people "why the hell are you here? Escaping your relatives because you prefer money?"
