Have you used the TSA system to make this suggestion?

I'm curious, about how many people make up the BDO effort? How many people have BDO's identified that were actual threats to commercial aviation?

What is the return on investment for the BDO program?

In other words, show the BDO program is a large enough benefit to fund or go screen people standing in line waiting for 20 and 30 minutes as is common at many TSA checkpoints!
I have and you should know, I am in a very small minority on this subject.

Have you read my signature? The second part I mean? Seriously, I can't talk about the program. The only thing I can do is direct you to publicly released information from the agency.

Yup, you're going to be treated with the same respect any criminal suspect is given. The whining and carrying on hasn't done ANYTHING to change this godawful agency and its workers. Possibly my refusal to line up for them ever again hasn't helped, either, but I am not actively supporting their jobs, wages (except through gov't taxes) or unwarranted searches (remember when there used to be a constitutional law against that?)

Hey, TSO Ron, were you polling me about my relationships with my wife by dragging out that old turnabout line? Tell you what. You answer what happens when an irresistable force meets an immovable object and we'll be on level ground again to continue your poll of me. Meanwhile, please, please, PLEASE learn the difference between "your", "you're" and "yore" (should you ever try THAT one, too...) so I can comminucate with you while maintaining a straight face.

Just keep lining up for these happy helpers, kids.

Side note: "I yearn for the days of Yore..."

I just wanted to use that word in public, now back to the normal thread...:D

Oh, that one's easy -- because the BDO program is utter nonsense, based on imaginary junk science.

About you signature.

I did not ask anything about operations or practices.

I just asked how many BDO's are in the employ of TSA and some evidence that they have contributed to commercial aviation safety.

I suggest that BDO's should work the TDC position giving you face to face time with each person entering the security area.

Let me clarify a bit, if it isn't in a press release or on TSA.gov - I won't discuss it at all. I believe the current numbers or projections may be out in general news cycles, but I am just not able to discuss the program. I know that frustrates you (and in some ways, me too), but that is the rule I have to abide by. ;)
