Are there any bonus miles offer with CO? Recently I switched to AT&T and was told that the previous 5K bonus miles offer with British Airways was no longer in effect, but I could get 5 BA miles per dollar spent.

One thing I have discovered with AT&T, keep calling back until you find a customer service rep who will give you what you want. If you call 20 times and get the same answer, that is probably the best you can do. If you call a few tims, good change a CSR will give you a sweat deal. Just keep trying, AT&T seems to be very dissorganized.

Also (with all the long distance companies and a lot of companies with huge call centers) call different times and days. Different skill levels work different days and hours due to their seniority usually. So on a Wednesday daytime you hopefully get a full time experienced person, where on Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend you may be more likely to get the new person.
Of course there are exceptions because they do try to balance things but the odds are...
You can use either scenario to your advantage.
