Aeroméxico - AM Plus / premier. Worth it?

Hi everyone. Just after some advice about a domestic flight I’m looking to book in Mexico.

Flying MEX - BJX, so a very short flight on an embracer 190.

I have lounge access for my partner and I through lounge club, so I believe we can access the Aeroméxico premier lounge before the flight.

I would like to gauge opinion from those who know these flights better than I do..... is there any benefit in paying extra for either AM Plus or premier/business on this short flight?

No. Don't spend any more money than you already have for such a short segment upgrade. The service is almost identical from Premier to Main Cabin. Plus before you know it you'll be in Leon anyway.

AM's soft product is bad. The business class checkin is terrible, the lounge is meh, and the onboard service is also meh.

Where AM provides value for money is on the hard product in relatively reasonably priced long haul flights, especially on their flights using a 1-2-1 configuration.

A domestic or even a short US Mexico flight? Business class is a waste of money in my view.

Don't do it. Free drink and peanuts in economy.. free drink and mixed nuts in business.

I concur with everyone's comments here. For the flight itself, not worth it.

As for lounges, the best one is past gate 75, the Heineken lounge. View of the planes, usually less crowded, decent seating and service.
