Any updates on this? With shshow on Marriott side would like to do nore Shangri-La stays.

1) any status matches?

2) for highest tier do they upgrade to suites?

1. No status match from other hotel chains
2. No room upgrade as ruled benefits at all

No official status matches..... but this thread might help with upgrades and VIP status until you can earn your own (or double dip at that point)
