Shangri la help help help!!!!
 

I want to book a stay at shangri la dubai with the skywards emirates 25 pct discount when you are a member of skywards.
Now I am a member of skywards but don t have the card physically.
I read in the conditiions of shangri la that you have to show your card at checkin to be sure to get the discount.
Now for safety I called shangr la sales team and asked if showing a paper copy of my skywards emirates card and number would be accepted.
But the lady called a supervisor and she got back to me with the answer that or I had to show the card or I needed a confirmation from emirates side that i was a member of skywards emirates.
How stupid!
What do you think? Any hints or any experience?

Does someone have the email of the hotel manager or concierge (because I want to book a horizon club room) of the shangri la dubai?

Does the Emirates app show your card?
