Anyone succeeded in using ryanair's online booking recently?
Hi,
I am trying to book a ticket from BLL to CIA this evening on Ryanair. However no matter whatever card I use for paying, the website just says "An error has occurred, please try again". I tried my Danish debit mastercard and Chinese credit card, also my friend's card with no luck. I also tried firefox, chrome and ie under windows and linux, no luck either. What does this message mean? Does anyone know if it's their problem? Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem, I tried to buy a ticket from different machines, OS, credit card even from different countries
Their website is s**t I guess they want people to call ther 1€/m hotline so that they can rip us off even more.

Simply to say that I had this problem with BA in August .... and learned that you only get 3 'goes' in 24 hours before the card/username gets blocked, and that if your address is in a different country from your bank that's the reason why.
VERY UNSATISFACTORY ... after all that's what international credit cards are supposed to be for .... aren't they?
I've read elsewhere that there are currently problems with Ryanair's online booking system so sadly you're not alone.

My Canadian AMEX failed 3 times, then I ended up buying with my Canadian Visa.
I m hesitant to pay with PayPal, I m unsure if travel insurance with my cc will work or not.
You can try Ryanair customer service via chat. If all fails, you can run a search on momondo, and buy from an ota.

Having this same issue. My Canadian Amex is being rejected - both online and in the app. I tried using Apple Pay as well but doesn't seem to allow Amex as a form of payment within the app (only shows my Visas and Mastercards as valid forms of payment). Would prefer to use Amex as payment for the insurance coverage. I checked with Amex and they never received any authorization request so it's definitely all on Ryanair's end. Anyone find a workaround for this?
