I wonder what it is about the TYO-Indonesia market that warrants having one of the best cabins on those routes. It's only 7h flying time and the competition seems to be using business-class cabins only.
Can't complain; I'm flying GA F next week and glad I have something better than J to do it with.

Will do. So far I'm not impressed with the pre-flight service. I had a couple simple enough requests and none were honored. I responded asking for L pajamas but asking to have XL available too just in case the size doesn't fit—and they said no! What kind of airline doesn't have every option available onboard for its passengers? They also denied me the car service and another thing I asked for.

Now that CGK-LHR has been dropped it seems that CGK-HND will get First Class (https://www.routesonline.com/news/38...rvice-changes/). Seems like the CGK First Class lounge and ground services will stay in action. DPS-NRT is the other route. But I get a First choice when trying dummy bookings at www.garuda-indonesia.com/id/en/index.page.
The two GA B777-300ER which have the First Class cabin are PK-GIF and PK-GIG. Use www.flightradar24.com to see where they are.

I originally found it odd that PK-GIF has been flying to AMS and LHR (https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/pk-gif) as recently as yesterday, but upon closer inspection, it seems the CGK<>HND route is only commencing F as of 10/29. Same seems to be true of PK-GIG, which flew to LHR as recently as 10/23.
I assume they're simply not selling the F cabin on those routes, probably because it's not consistent.
So boils down to CGK<>HND and DPS<>NRT.
Bummer no true long-hauls.
