You might want to familiarize yourself with the gestalt of recent threads before posting. The actual forum of concern is Omni. No one is claiming that FT as a whole was not indexed by Page Rank.

I'm well aware of the recent changes, but the comments I address did not limit themselves to OMNI.

As I post there are 552 threads in the google cache of OMNI.

[Question for Randy and/or FT staff: are you able to make ANY changes to FT to make it difficult for pirates (or anyt web crawlers) to abuse 'your' content and steal page views/ad $ from FT?]

It's already indexed - I searched for a phrase from one of the posts and constrained it to flyertalk:

Once Google sinks their claws into a dynamic site, they crawl it regularly looking for changes.

Yes, they decided to abandon it once IB contacted them. As for being for sale, well, i put in a bid to purchase it just to protect the back side of FT and they never responded to the bid, so i'm not sure of what its fate will be. But at least FlyerTalk is back in our hands.
