Another tough situation! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif
Joseph Fletcher, perhaps! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif Just kidding, of course! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
Amusing, Doc! I believe that Joseph Fletcher said something to the effect that one should make an assessment of the guiding principles and then either follow them or abandon them in keeping with a course of action that best serves love (probably a dreadful summary from memory).. so if in this case, my love is for miles, then it clearly follows that my situational ethics served love http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

svpii .. there are some on the boards who would delight in your sharing and others who would delight in informing the program directly of you and your name if known. Often a difficult choice WHAT to post these days if it involves such areas. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

svpii: It is obviously clear to me, if not to all except for those who cannot see (or will not see?) even if it is directly in front of them, that your love is for miles and for miles only and not for subverting the rules or intentionally benfitting from underserved gifts. I accept the flawed you as I too am flawed.
