I just tried the search thing for the first time just now. Pretty handy thing-a-ma-bob. Maybe I'll started using it so someone doesn't lay the smack-down on me for posting an already answered thread. Little disapointed searching for Idiot doesn't bring me up though. I think it was very inappropriate to post the private email that Randy sent you, Trojan Horse. While it is certainly not illegal, it is unethical, to openly post a private letter.

Obviously that communication was not meant for everyone, or everyone would have received it (or Randy would have posted it publicly.)

eastwest .. agree that Randy's full email should not have been posted. Still think he was polite and sensible in it though.

Village Idiot .. Search is a very handy tool at times. All will agree the present version has its drawbacks, but far better than not having it at all. You can specify a search by USER NAME only on all threads and all your posts will come up, or anyone who has used your name within a post, such as I have just done here.

While I wouldn't put any private e-mail on the boards myself (except for responses from airline complaints/questions, special bonuses over e-mail, etc.), I was happy to read what Randy wrote. He was very cordial and seemed to handle the situation is a very fair way. Not too harsh, but harsh enough to get his point across.
