Mine was ticketed on 14 August.
Serfty, I don't suppose you have a copy of the technical rule sheet pre-14 August and post? I hadn't even noticed the change to s. 16(a)(1)(a): ". . . If the fare level has decreased since ticket issuance, no refund will apply" but if the fare has gone up, get out your credit card. To me this is along the lines of the reduction of sectors from 20 to 16, the inclusion of surface sectors in the total number etc. There doesn't seem to be have been much coming back the XONEx passenger's way in recent times. But I guess that would be the subject of another thread. |

But I guess that would be the subject of another thread. One of AA's best and nicest rtw agents called a couple of days ago and left vm telling me about the fare sale. It was sweet of her to call, but I could just hear her manager beating her and her fellows to get out there and sell. |
Perhaps the OW group should give an extra 5 % on top of the new 10 % to FTers. Surely this forum must be a huge promotional plus for the (A)RTW fares.

Who would be getting the better publicity? Fred |
Quick question (can't quite find the answer) - Does SA remain the cheapest place to issue a DONE4/5?
The 10% discount is definitely looking very attractive. |

I was told by BA's USA RTW desk that you cannot get the lower price even if you trigger a re-issue

I finally found time to call the AA RTW desk today. The man I spoke with seemed distracted and rushed, and he didn't seem to know anything about changing the first flight triggering a reissue. I changed the date of the first flight and another flight. When I got the e-mail confirmation, the only reference to price or payment was, "Payment Type: Exchange." I'll check to see if a refund issues, but it does not look promising.

I believe it should be the difference pertaining at the time you did the original ticketing. Which should be the 10%-reduced AONE4 price at that time. In KRW, converted at today's exhcange rate (if you're not paying in KRW).
