Rerouting... Need Help. ONE4
Hi Guys,
This is the end of my ONE4:
JFK-MAD(connecting flight)-TFN-BCN-LHR
All 20 segments will be used.
My problem is the TFN-BCN is no longer a direct flight as when i booked this in jan 07, there is a connection through MAD. So that chews up 1 segment. Correct?
So can i change my route to JFK-MAD(connecting flight)-TFN; (I'll purchase a oneway on my own back to MAD) MAD-CAI-LHR?
The rerouting charge is $125 USD?
Thank You for your help!

The OW continent is Europe/Middle East, and CAI is part of it, so you should be able to do JFK-xMAD-TFN//MAD-CAI-LHR as part of the reissue. But, don't be too surprised if the airline doing the reissue comes up with the objection that TFN//MAD is 2 stopovers. No, I don't agree with that view, but in such a case my opinion is worth nada.

CAI is in Europe for the purposes of the OWE. If you have no other stopovers in Europe, MAD-CAI-LHR would be allowed.
Taxes will be computed based on the new route; you may or may not get a credit for segments that you don't use.

IIRC, the rule came about ~April 1st - certainaly after Jan '07.
captainflyer, you will be fine on the 20 segment rule in respect to surface segments.

Hi Guys,
Looking at one way flights from TFN -MAD around Jan 4, 5, or 6th 2008 it seems pretty expensive for 1 way. I am getting fares around $250-350 USD. Airline does not matter.
What is a adverage price for that time frame? Suggestions to get back to MAD.
Thanks
