Awaiting QF points for IB flights
I'm in the U.S. and considered my AA membership to be retired, so before I booked Iberia flights within Spain and Portugal, I joined the Qantas program as my new OW program. When I booked the flights, I'm sure I included my QF number, but it didn't appear on my boarding passes, and the itinerary is blank under "Loyalty program." Nothing's posted yet; do I really need to wait eight weeks to see if they post? I see that I can't claim them online; I would need to mail documentation to Australia, as I understand.

IME, it took about 7-10 days for IB segments to credit to my QF account.
I have previously used the Feedback page on the Qantas website to make claims for missing points: http://qantas.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/q...nduser/ask.php Select Frequent Flyer > Missing points from the dropdown menu. Qantas have accepted JPEG's (from a digital camera) of my paper tickets and boarding passes previously, when I have made claims whilst still travelling. I may have just gotten lucky, however. |
As Rejuvier said just email them with your details, when points dont post they will accept a jpeg photo of the BP as proof.

Thanks. It's been four weeks since the flights; if I contact them do you think they'll just tell me to wait until it's eight weeks?
