AY lounges in LED and HEL?
Hello. Did a search and could not find the answer.
Two relatives are traveling on AY award tix with AA miles, economy class. Neither has elite status.
1. I assume that they can't use the lounges, even if the miles came out of my (PLT) account.
2. Is there a way to buy a 1-day pass for lounge access at LED and HEL?
2a. Would they have to buy 2 passes (one for each city)?
2b. Would they each have to buy a pass or does a day pass include a guest?
3. They are leaving JFK with 2 friends who are traveling in biz class. Can their friends bring them into the lounge at JFK?
Thank you in advance for any advice.

1. Correct
2. You can't buy your way into OW lounges in general (except Admiral's Club and Qantas Club, neither of which apply here).
3. If the friends are travelling on OneWorld and have OW Sapphire or Emerald status then yes. Otherwise no. And obviously it depends which terminal and lounge (BA's lounge in T7 is airside).

Seriously, if your relatives have Diners, they may be able to get into the Pulkovo lounges at LED. I've heard the lounges are still listed on the Russian language DC site. (I don't speak Russian myself). In Helsinki, without OW status, the only option may be Priority Pass. I don't think it is worth it. If your relatives are leaving the non-Schengen zone there is a nice seating area with designer chairs between T1 and T2(domestic) as well as an e-service bar.

Of all the airports I've been in recently, I'd rank HEL near the top of those where I would not mind not having lounge access. It's a pretty decent terminal with nice seating areas and interesting duty free stores.

Virtually all lounges in Russian airports are contract lounges (with the exception of certain airline-operated lounges at the DME airport). Therefore, there would be no AY/OneWorld lounge at LED.
And yes, you can buy a lounge pass for the LED lounge:
