CMB Contacts for OWE Issue

Was wondering if anyone had a contact # and email in CMB to get a DONE4 issued. Would prefer to use CX directly rather than a TA as I will only be doing a short stop and will probably need to pick up at apt.

Thanks

PS I am assuming the prcies have not gone up sicne Sept 1? and the QF OWE link is still accurate?

JohnAx has done it successfully through CX in Colombo. See this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...hlight=colombo
Perhaps you could contact him directly for more specific details.

Thanks for the help - actually ended up getting the email address from CX HKG - for future reference it is:

[email protected]

They are very efficient and say I can pick up ticket at the apt.

Unfortunately I will probably only fly in, get the ticket and head back out - not even time for for a drink at the Galle Face this visit but guess I will be back with in 12 months - have actually been a few times before - nice city but better if you can get out.

Can I ask a really silly question? What happens if you never take the last leg in an xONEx itin and it just expires? Permanent note in your personnel folder? Giant invoice from the issuing carrier?

With origins like CMB (or some E. European places, even CAI) the total cost savings over other ticketing locations may be great enough that tossing the last ticket because of the hassle might be justifiable.

Just curious.

You are technically violating the rules of the XONEX and the issuing carrier coul come after you for the point-to-point value of each segment. In a premium cabin, this would be a very heavy fee. In reality, you would probably get away with it, but you have to decide if it is worth the risk.
