You can't upgrade BA for oneway flights anyway! So the only exception to the above rule is maybe BKK/SIN-SYD/MEL-SIN/BKK and LHR-DXB-LHR.

Then for economy tickets ex-various cities, you'd have to start issuing them through CX instead of AA!

Or LHR-CAI-LHR... I don't see any rule that requires the two segments in the underlying ticket to be on the same ticket.

You specified ex-CAI originally, so I would think you might mean CAI-LHR-LHR.
I haven't tried that yet. Upgrading oneway at the start of a RTW and ending with the return sector. I don't know if Asiamiles will accept that kind of return. Has anyone tried?

Use the miles to get the ticket in Iberia or CX and dont use money! get a Business Ticket
