Open Segment, but no flights?
 

I'm planning a LONE5 starting in Australia in Jan 05. I won't get to Sth America until Sep 05. Question is, if I have an open segment for say EZE-LAX (currently LA600 is the only flight that fits the bill), what happens is the flight no longer operates by the time Sep 05 comes around? :confused:

well if you booked it will be up to the airline to sort it out for you.
same as any booked tickets.
but if you leave it open and /or you re-route then they will expect you to take it out of your ticketing allowance - as you wouldn't have a firm seat and therefore would be told when you go to book it..
