Oneworld premium class bargains and unorthodox routes!

Hi,

which origin is the best deal for Oneworld RTWs in C/F ? Which origin is the cheapest in Europe ?

Are there any great F fares from CAI or South Africa or Zimbabwe to e.g. Southeast Asia ?

Which flights operated by oneworld carriers exist where the carriers make use of fifth freedom rights ?

I am looking for something like:
BA: JNB-CPT
QF: LHR-BKK
CX: JFK-YVR

Thanks!

Awww geez! :(

Your thread title got me all excited... but it turns out you are ASKING whether there are any bargains or great routes. That tricky exclamation point had me thinking you had found some.

I am sorry for the confusion techgirl, however the trick will increase traffic and hopefully lead to the wanted responses ;)!

BA have a whole chunk of franchise flights within Africa. I don't have a route map to hand but there are flights from NBO and S Africa to a range of other African countries.

There is also BAH - DOH, AUH - MCT and EZE - GRU on mainline flights.

Sorry, no help on RTW bargains. ;)

This thread has so far been viewed often, but the constructive replies are very rare, unfortunately...:(

As far as I know, LA has only four seats in its first class. I've been trying to get on their SYD/AKL without much luck.

Actually, they have 5 seats in a single row, arranged 2x1x2.

Have you tried getting a seat using the QF codeshare? For OWE purposes, I have had mich better success getting LAN F seats under ther QF or AA codeshare flight number.

In addition to MAD-FRA-MAD, LAN also operates AKL-SYD-AKL.

AA flies to neither, let along in between them. That's just a codeshare, not Fifth Freedom flight.

Thank you!
