Where were CX and CP?

I am not a fan of the oneworld lounges idea. I like the different touches that the current lounges offers. Nice noodles at CX lounges, a decent Gin at QF lounges etc.

They also plan to introduce new platform to connect member airlines' systems better: https://www.oneworld.com/news/Digita...tomer-benefits

I doubt the rest of OW will be thrilled to share a platform with the notoriously dysfuntional ba.com which, currently, is unable even to show our future bookings,

Interesting ! I have a CPT booked myself, for Sept, visiting a friend who lives down there, but actually chose BA - rather than my preferred QR - because there was a rather good CW fare knocking around for a while, ex-AMS. And I do have UD seats on the 747, even though it may well be one of the older non-refurbs on the day.

But I also have QR down to Oz coming up well before then, so like you would definitely not wish to see such a good carrier leave OW.

I'm not entirely sure that's equivalent because BA Gold cannot access the Concorde room either... only those flying in First or with a Concorde Room Card (5,000TPs a year) can.

Can qatar elite access Qatar premium lounge?

Oh, I thought you were making the point that they could... Misunderstanding.

Perhaps that will allow booking award travel on all carriers from aa.com.

Presumably you mean when flying in Y.

At LHR, CDG and BKK, no. At DOH, sometimes. If the non-QR lounges are deemed to be full, they will sometimes send pax to Al Mourjan.

Oneworld was unveiled by its founding members, American Airlines, British Airways, Canadian Airlines (which left the alliance a few years later on merging with Air Canada), Cathay Pacific, and Qantas at a press conference in London, United Kingdom, on 21 September 1998.
