Where is the cheapest place to ticket a 4 or 5 Cont F AONE? I have done calculations off the website and came up with the best prices being:
Egypt, Gibraltar, Thailand, Taipei, New Zealand

Will have to use miles anyways to get from US, but what would be best place to start in terms of most miles earned and best cost?

Just wanted to update everyone as promised previously.

The tickets from GIB arrived too late for my departure and had to be reissued by Bland. They did this and I picked them up from the BA desk in GIB. I got back to the US from the Europe/Asia/Australia legs last night and they were in the post mountain. They were mailed 3 weeks before I left so took at least that long to get here by mail. Henry was very helpful throughout however and even gave me his home phone number in case I had any problems at departure.

I'll finish up the US/South America legs over the next 9 months or so but will post my trip report on the first half in the trip reports forum soon.

It seems to be that the cheapest fares are from India. Anything lower than that? Usually India is expensive to get to, but for someone like me who goes there 1-2 times a year anyway, it may work well. Anyone know of a reliable travel agent in India.

Will check with my office in Delhi (we use them for hundreds of co-workers flying DEL-LHR) and get back to you.

Based on 3 continents - J is cheaper in India than GIB based on current rates. If you want F then GIB is cheaper.

For fares you might want to check out this excellent site which has the latest cost information on it for OWE tickets - nothing to do with me !!.
