Will ONEWORLD match STAR's 55,000 mile promotion?
Star Allaince has come out with a new promo.
Fly 5 partners in 55 days and get a 55,000 mile bonus.
This is to celerbrate their 5th aniversery.
Do you think for competitive reasons that Oneworld will come up with something lucerative for its customers?

I doubt it.
When OneWorld came out with the initial Fly 5 get 100K .... STAR did not match.
Just because one alliance comes out with a promo, doesn't mean all the airlines and alliances will match.

When will OW celebrate their 5th year anniversary? As long as OW will not have similar alliance wide promotions at the same time as *A, I will be game! Just please do not do it right now, since I got my arms and legs and a little brain wrapped up in the current *A offers....
