Thanks very much for the advice. I've used this agent before for plain vanilla India-SIN tickets, but guess he was totally in the dark about OWE intricacies.

Does the same approach of calling AA in the US also apply for ticketing OWE in other countries such as South Africa and Thailand?

mhj, your routing is fine if your trip is an Explorer ticket. You are allowed to backtrack in a continent. The only real restrictions that would apply are that you only get two stopovers in your continent of origin (which you are using one, SIN) and that you get 4 sectors. Otherwise, you can use them whenever and wherever you want.

Absolutely. I have even called them from London to issue a ticket out of Sweden
