Sorry to throw a spanner in the works but (at least for tickets issued in Australia) you cannot buy additional segments in your continent of origin. Is it different with other originations?
|
yes, reissue is $75 or 100.
segment is 150 for M, 400 for D, 550 for A (not sure about the exact number) but if u have DONE3, u can only add M/D segment, not higher class (A) |
Ahhhh...............
I should have had maxxed my segments on the originalk ticket then... I'll do that next year..... Super confirm: As OW Saph. I can use the 'Wing' even though I add the segment to DPS in economy? Return is biz. to ICN, so no problem there. |
oneworld Sapphire will get you access to the Business Class section of the Wing in HKG - regardless of what class you are booked in.
Not sure which frequent flyer program you are with but bear in mind that for the owe any coach segments are booked in M class and if your flight is on CX you may not get miles. Best to check your program rules to avoid disappointment. |

Just because I like seeing myself in print-
2. 2 ADDITIONAL FLT SEGMENTS WITHIN EACH CONTINENT - EXCEPT CONTINENT OF ORIGIN- MAY BE PURCHASED AT A CHARGE |
Looks like I am in HKG then!
RDP Not such a bad thing though. Next year I MAX my continent of orgina segments!!! What about cancelling segments and making the trip shorter? Would I just be charged the reissue? RDP |
if routing is not changed, just throw the last segments away, dont even talk to anybody about that http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
(i guess u mean the HKG-ICN segment?) |
I actually want to go to ICN!!!
NRT-HKG-ICN on OW ICN-NRT on the return of a mileage ticket which I already have. (1yr open) Stopover will be HKG, ICN will be transit. It's a mini vacation. That much I did plan! RDP |
rdp, enjoy the trip then. i like seoul a lot.
and i think i will probably begin my first personal AONE# from ICN sometime http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
