Bali Zone?

Is Bali considered Zone 3 (Asia
Indian sub-continent) or 4 (South West Pacific
incl Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea)?

Thanks,
-Jason

Indonesian Government would be pretty cranky were Bali classified as having shifted from Asia to the SW Pacific! They have enough trouble ensuring that Irian Jaya/West Papua remains part of the Republic.
But all is possible in one world! Koala

In case the previous answer wasn't clear: Bali is part of Asia.

Does this mean that my current left over segments (NRT-HKG-ICN) could be changed to NRT-BALI-ICN (or NRT-BALI-HKG-ICN) for only the segment change fee??? That would be a deal! I assume it would class as a change, and NOT additional segments???

have map{s}- will travel. always thought asia started east of dardenelles? however after looking @ atlas, can't find line between europe & asia. egypt is in africa per maps but not per oneworld. that is why it is irritating to not be able to get something definite w/out spending hours on the phone & reading threads here.

many maps should have the continental division lines.

the geographical division between europe and asia is a bit ambiguious.
it is generally accepted as the Ural mountain and Bosphorus (Istanbul)

for the fare rule on fewmiles site: assume the geographic definition unless exception is clearly stated (in this case, north africa and middle east)
