oneworld comparison chart
As BlondeBomber and co have done for Star Alliance, so tedhl is doing for oneworld...
Merry and I have provided the UK and US BA Exec Club sections respectively - is there an (elite?) Global Exec Club member out there who would be willing to complete the third and final part of the BA comparison? Comparing notes with Nick, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference in the Gold/Silver benefits between the UK and US Exec Clubs, but the basic program has some significant differences... |
We await your chart with eager anticipation (well at least I do).
|
baobab - I'm more than happy to help complete the third part. Please let me know where to send the info (you, tedhl?)
|
If you need help with the American section, let me know.

Sorry to drag this thread back....but I'm just wondering if the OneWorld Chart is still going on?
Thanks! |
Remember to start small (but think big).

yes, sorry...it took me quite a while to put the chart together...
I now have the first version of the chart, with information about all the 5 airline programs together in a single Word file...for those of you who're interested in this version, please email me at [email protected] and I'll send the file to you right away. I'll be putting this into an HTML version within the next couple of days, and probably do something like BlondeBomber did, have separate files comparing similar status in different programs, i.e. one file each for Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby. Hopefully I can get this done within the next couple of days. Thanks all of you who've contributed to this first version of the chart, and thanks for waiting as well. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
Tedhl has sent me a copy that I have put up at my download site so you can go directly there.
Watch soon and I will post an .html version. For now, those who want the word processor version of the Oneworld comparison chart, click on the Oneworld.doc link (Word 97-59K) at the page the link below takes you to and your word processor should open and then you can use your "Save As" to save it to one of your directories. Alternately you can right click on the link and it should ask you where you want to save the file to. members.home.net/deercroft/download.html Thanks tedhl and gang for getting this up and running. I haven't even had a chance to look at it yet. You might be deluged with new and useful info. |
PS. Let me know if this link works. I am still trying to work out cache bugs.
|
Hi Cliff:
This link http://members.home.net/deercroft/oneworld.doc is actually pointing to the starall99.doc. Thanks to Blondebomber, Tedhl, and crew for putting this together! |

when I clicked on your onwworld link it showed you Star Alliance File, and not the 1w file. I liked you riding your plane, though it does remind me of an Indian train I rode in my youth http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif regards, Stewart |
Try it again or try typing it in directly. That worked for klin. The pointer should be correct but sometimes the cache has a mind of its own. It was incorrectly pointing towards the star chart (just my bias creeping in I guess http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif a few minutes ago. Now it should be full speed ahead.

Just reposting at the end and to build up my Flyer Talk credits.

The html pointing to the oneworld.doc is working correctly now.
|
tedhl -- good job on the chart! Very interesting to see that Emerald qualification would be easiest on BA (Global version) and most difficult on CX (I think).
Could we add another item to the chart to show which non oneWorld carriers you can earn status on? For example, AA ff's can earn status on Reno, Midway, Alaska, Horizon and certain US Airways flights. |
