I've come to my personal conclusion that both IB and AY are very slow in crediting flights to other airlines' FF programmes. Conincidentally, both airlines use the Amadeus Computer Reservations System.

BA seems to be one of the fastest (next day or maximum 2 days later) to credit CP and AA's FF.

CX takes about a week in average.

QF takes less than a week for AA's FF but between 2-3weeks for CP and CX's programme.

Happy holidays everyone...did we complete our OneWorld challenge?

CP credits AA, BA, AY and CX mileage fast (within 1 week)

As for the OW challenge

Got AA (AA,CP,BA,IB) but mailed-in AY segment hasn't credited yet (after 5-6 weeks) so only 50k bonus miles for now.

Got CP (CP, BA, AY, CX) but having screw ups with the AA flights which are bouncing between the CP and BA accounts. So 50k bonus for now.

Didn't take the 5th segment on BA (got BA, CP, AA, CX) unless by some miracle, my IB segment credits. 80K will give me an off-season J class to the UK from YVR.

Update: 11 Jan
AA segment credits on CPlus and AY segment credits on AAdvantage so now to wait for the 50k sweep. Praying for IB miracle on BA ECC

I'm still waiting for my IB flight to post from 12/25/99. It is worth 2K for the flight (including bonus) and 50K for the 5th OneWorld partner.

I've found no problem with IB posting with either AAdvantage or Cdn+. In my case, this occured within days of the flights being taken when I gave the number at check-in, or when it was on the original res file.
