MEL-PER-SYD is invalid routing

WITHIN AUSTRALIA - ONLY ONE NONSTOP/SINGLE PLANE
SERVICE FLIGHT IS PERMITTED BETWEEN THE
FOLLOWING POINTS -
BNE/CBR/CNS/SYD/MEL - PER
CBR/MEL/SYD - DRW
BNE/MEL/SYD - BME
BNE/MEL/SYD - KTA
EXCEPTION
A.NO RESTRICTION BETWEEN SYD/MEL - PER FOR
PASSENGERS ORIGINATING IN PERTH WHEN IN
CONJUNCTION WITH TRAVEL TO/FROM JNB.

And that problem is normally fixed by including ADL, but in the OP's case that will mean 5 flight segments in the continent, which is 1 more than is allowed
(SYD-CHC-MEL-PER-ADL-SYD)

OP, if you are prepared to substitute AKL for CHC, then this would work:
...CGK-HKG-AKL-MEL-PER-ADL-SYD...

Another possibility, depending on when you intend to fly, is:
...SYD-CHC,AKL-PER-MEL-SYD... (surface segment between CHC and AKL)
The AKL-PER flight is seasonal only - during the summer months. And only twice a week - Saturdays and Sundays

No, sorry.

That rule applies only if your itinerary originates in NZ
Your itinerary originates in South Africa

Or a surface sector MEL SYD with cities in a different order. You can only do 1 east-west (or opposite) in Australia
MEL-SYD = 439 AKL-CHC = 463 http://gc.kls2.com/cgi-bin/gc?PATH=m...OR=&MAP-STYLE=
