Has anyone booked a Circle Atlantic fare? I was interested in a 17,000 mile South America>Europe>North America>South America however the kind folk at AA reservations had no idea the fare existed... Has anyone booked one of these fares and provide a rough price guide - trying to decide if it is worth looking into. Thanks
Never booked one
but here are the base fares ex-Buenos Aires (source ExpertFlyer)
LCIRAT17 USD3000

No. All OW base fares need taxes & carrier fees (fuel surcharges, etc) added, as these are carrier & route dependantOriginally Posted by Stylewars

Did you call regular AA reservations or the AA RTW desk? Regular AA reservations wouldn't be expected to have much (if any) knowledge of the oneworld rtw or circle products.Originally Posted by Stylewars

I haven't looked at the circle atlantic for some time but I never saw much value there when compared to other products.

You need to call the AA Round-The-World desk. A fantastic resource for this type of ticket, the AA staff are knowledgeable & friendly. Ask for Rebecca if she is available.Originally Posted by Stylewars

The base fare for an ex-Argentina DONE4 is USD9299
So for USD1299 more than the DCIRAT17 you'll get Asia, no mileage restrictions and fewer stopover restrictions
