ticketing RTW on CX - thoughts?
HI
I usually try and get my RTWs ticketed on AA so I can access the AA RTW desk for changes etc Does anyone have experience of ticketing on CX and then having to deal with them for changes/reissues etc Do they have a specific RTW helpdesk or such? I am originating JNB and could book online as first fight is JNB -HKG on CX |
There is no RTW dedicated desk at CX.
But, I have used several RTW tickets issued by CX. I always call CX Tokyo reservation/ticketing office for reservation changes and routing changes. They are efficient and knowledgeable. There is no handling charge when tickets issued by CX(160-). I don't know Hong Kong reservation office quality. |
My last DONE3 was issued by CX via the online tool. No issues. Had changes made to it by both CX and JL (at their ticket counters in LHR and SIN) with no problems.

I have purchased DONE4s through CX in BKK. Date changes have been efficient and without extra cost. Sometimes the emails requesting changes have been ignored (or just missed), but sending a fax with requested changes has resulted in an outcome within an hour or two.
