Oneworld rules for checking thru baggage
Hi there!
Travelled HEL - TXL with AY with connection to AMM with RJ on same day but with different booking references and could not check thru my baggage. Very annoying, thought that this would be one of the benefits with alliances.
Does anyone have similar experiences ???

oneworld has no alliance-wide rules about baggage. Definitely annoying. Write the airline that checked you in about it.

Interestingly, AY does not have bag agreement RJ, which is really strange given that both have been OW members for a while. Don't know if this is a recent change due to AY's strike or if this has always been the case.

Thanks for the comments.
It was especially surprising cause the ticket was an award ticket in C issued by Finnair.
Waiting for a reply from AY now.

Flew back from AMM to TXL with RJ with a connection to HEL wtih AY and had no problems at all to check thru my baggage at Amman airport. Strange !!
