Wait till MH joins OW, then their KUL lounge will rival CX's in HKG ! :p

Amongst the AA lounges, I have found the JFK Flagship Lounge to be the best.

I would say LHR T3 and T5 First lounges and NRT F Lounge are all nice although the LHR lounges have more space. Velasquez Lounge at MAD is actually quite decent for a business class lounge, almost on par with an F lounge, though they could benefit from having more space.

I have yet to check out the legendary F lounges at SYD and HKG, although I thought the SYD business class lounges were decent, but nothing to write home about.

QF/BA at SIN I would rate the J lounge above the F lounge.

I also agree with this. The SIN J Lounge is better than the F Lounge.

SYD F is very good (Haven't been the MEL F yet)
BA T3 Galleries is nice too (it was pretty quiet when l visited) but l was in there less than 30 minutes.

I do like the bacon rolls in the T5 BA lounges though.

I think the QF F lounges in SYD/MEL still tops the HKG lounges.

^ People reviving in HEL. Fantastic especially when you just arrived from SIN.

Speaking of that best view from The Wing...here's a 44-second video I shot from The Wing, including a CX 747 taking off (at about 25 seconds).

Thankfully, the worst OW First Lounge..has closed...JAL at T5 in Chicago.

Even more annoying is that whilst I had to endure this JAL Bunker the BA Lounge was unused..Closed until later in the day.

Although JAL have their good points no drinks from Boarding until 45 mins after take-off is not one of them.

Interesting... I arrived from ORD to HEL a couple of weeks ago (AA-130) and wanted to enter just to use the rest room, and I was told that "this is not an arrivals lounge" and I wasn't granted access although I am an OW Emerald and showed a B-class BP for the just arrived flight.

I think DownUnderFlyer said reviving...nor Arriving...

If you are in transit you will be able to use the lounge..Even for Emerald, Arriving lounge is not a benefit rather than traveling on CX arriving in HKG...BA/AA will do everything to deny your entry unless you arrive with business class boarding pass.

Back to the topic, I think we have to make sure not to put any third party/contract lounge into this thread...If so there will be a very very long list as the worst. My personal favourite for the WORST nomination is Barcelona and Warsaw. But both of the two lounge does not belong to any OW airlines...So I have to put down:

BA Miami premier lounge with IB. the worst for the decor and food/beverage options

QF/BA F lounge in HKG: the worst QF F lounge food options I have ever seen.

Reviving, after arriving from SIN :)

Plus one for QF F lounge in SYD being the best I've been to so far. Looking forward to checking out CX's F offerings in HKG in December. Agree that the QF / BA "F lounge" in SIN is embarrassing in terms of how poor quality it is. More akin to an Admiral's Club. I've visited all of the AA FLs (apart from ORD) and have to say that they are pretty disappointing too (although I would like the MIA one to open at some point as I fly through there a couple of times a month at least). Madrid lounges are good for F. Whilst the refurbished AA lounges at LHR T3 are a vast improvement over their previous offerings, why any OneWorld Emerald wouldn't head straight to the BA F lounge at T3 instead is beyond me. Yet to make it into the CCR unfortunately, but like the BA F lounges at T5 and T3.

the shared lounge used by CX in Rome near the boarding gate is a downstairs dump. Vinegar wine and pretzels for the F+B. No windows.
I notice the absence of lounges in India rerported here - the one CX uses in Delhi is a dump also.

Worse has to be the OW lounge at TBIT, esp overcrowded in the evening with departing QF flights and a internet connection that is like a snail on valiumn.

Is this the same one Iberia uses in Rome? I'd forgotten about that one, for a reason...

Not recently; We travelled last September, IB used an upstairs lounge (above the departures concourse) with a view of the airport.

Hopefully IT will actually join OW soon and we'll be able to use their new T3 lounge, which I've heard is quite nice.

EDIT: Apparently the lounge is already open, contracted as a third-party lounge for AA/AY/BA/CX/JL/CX ^ It's been open since January.

It is called Le Anfore lounge which is Italian for a narrow vase.
They should rename it Il Crapo.
