maximizing AONE4 ex Riyadh

HI there
Am looking at booking AONE ex Riyadh and have provisional routing of

RUH-AMM-MCT-LHR-LAX-ORD-MIA-BDA-JFK-HKG-HND-SIN-SYD-WLG-MEL-HKG-RUH
or if you prefer
Riyadh-Amman-Muscat-London-LA-Chicago-Miami-Bermuda-New York-H Kong-Tokyo-Singapore-Sydney-Wellington-Melbourne-Hong Kong-Riyadh

I have to go to London, Bermuda, New York and Wellington but other than that am happy to consider any options which might increase total mileage - ideally on routes with F class.
It currently stands at 45,000 miles.

And the fuel surcharge is coming in around 400 US - any ways to reduce this..?
The online booking tool books the ticket on AA ...

Many thanks in advance.

Any reason why you are going for a AONE4 instead of a DONE4 ?
  • Your flights on Royal Jordanian (RUH-AMM-MCT) and the trans-tasman hops won't have a first class and will book in business.
  • The North American flights on a DONE4 will book in first class on two class flights (which most of your's are).
  • According to mileage monkey, first class is also absent on HKG-HND; and possibly HND-SIN if that is on JAL. (Mileage Monkey doesn't display a flight for HND-SIN).

Here's one possible routing - 53428 miles.

ruh-amm-lhr-lax-dfw-anc-dfw-mia-bda-jfk-hkg-bom-hkg-akl-syd-lhr-mct

(you'll need to buy akl-wlg-akl; hits all the other cities you need to be in).

Unless you have to return to RUH, you can finish the trip in MCT.

Routes with First Class (excluding north american routes) are;

lhr-lax
jfk-hkg
akl-syd (F available only on LAN)
syd-lhr
lhr-mct

Lan no longer has F.

MIA-BDA-JFK will also book into D as AA renames its front cabins as J on non-USA North American routes.

According to mileagemonkey, there is a 3 class 762 operating BDA-JFK, besides a two class 752 operating with J and Y

Mileage Monkey is way out of date

AA now only has a daily 757 on that route - with J and Y cabins only (according to KVS)
