Missing Miles Request
To anyone who can help me,
I am a regular NWA WP member. I recently took a flight designated as AA but actually operated by Horizon Air and has an AS on the actual flight itself. I tried getting credit for Worldperks but they are denying me because it wasn't codeshared as NW flight. For the numerous times I tried calling WP service, my call kept being dropped after being put on hold for 15-20 minutes. I begin to question whether I shouldn't switch over to Alaska instead of dealing with NW. From what I read off the worldperks website (attached below.) I should be credited because Horizon is the one who OPERATED the flight, not AA. I tried calling NWA WP but getting the run around and their WP line is useless in the rare case I get a WP human on the phone. Can anyone help me?? Send in a copy of the receipt and the boarding pass to the center, probably the best and easiest way to do so. Make sure you keep copies of the documents in case they get lost....

I don't think that flight will be credited to your NW account despite what it says. It has to be coded as a NW or AS flight (or one of the other ST partners).
AFAIK, the only AA-coded flights you can get credited are the American Eagle flights in southern California, providing they're in conjunction with an NW-operated flight that day. It can be credited to an AA or AS account (or probably a OW airline that also partners with AS). You can request credit to your AS account here: https://www.alaskaair.com/mileagepla...ditRequest.asp |
very much appreciated.
